Celebrating our Volunteers!

Linn-Mar is grateful to our fantastic team of 1,738 active volunteers. These dedicated men and women fulfill an incredibly important role in our buildings every day.

April is National Volunteer Month and April 21st – 27th is National Volunteer Week. All this month we’ve been celebrating and recognizing the dedication these volunteers give to the district through their help in our classrooms, reading for the Encourage a Reader program with over 180 students, material preparation for our teachers, assistance with our fine arts and athletic programs, support of additional Linn-Mar affiliated groups such as the PTO’s, Booster Club and Foundation and so much more!

Words just can’t quite express how grateful we are for all that volunteers do to support the district. Therefore, we’ve had students sing songs,make cards, and share some goodies to help show our appreciation for their efforts. With nearly 16,000 hours of service and counting this year, we know that Linn-Mar  is a better place because of the phenomenal support volunteers provide.

Together, We ARE Linn-Mar!
