Brinkmeyer to Receive Innovator Award
Congratulations to Linn-Mar High School Business Teacher Corey Brinkmeyer.
Mr. Brinkmeyer has been selected to receive the Jacobson Institute K-12 Innovator award. The presentation will be made on Friday, October 20th at 12:30 at the University of Iowa John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center (Iowa JPEC) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Honors event.
Mr. Brinkmeyer teaches marketing and entrepreneurship, but he is best known for his work establishing The ROAR Store.
The store, located in the south commons of the high school, offers Linn-Mar fans and supporters a wide range of specially designed gear, some of which is produced in-house. The store is open 2 to 3 days a week and is staffed by Linn-Mar business students.
