Bringing Books to Life!

Stories Alive is a longtime tradition at Linn-Mar. Each year, a famous children’s author pays a visit to all seven Linn-Mar elementary schools. Stacy McAnulty is this year’s guest author. She is known for her picture books including Beautiful, Excellent Ed, and 101 Reasons Why I’m Not Taking a Bath.

In this photo, she is talking about her Our Universe series of nonfiction books, and how she created a personality for the title character of Sun. You can tell that Sun has a big, bright personality!
