Boys Swimmers Break Four School Records at State

The Linn-Mar Boys Swim Team tied with Cedar Rapids Washington to take 10th place at the State Tournament in Iowa City.

Matt Peng tied for fifth place in the 50 freestyle (21:56).  He took third in the 100 butterfly (50.60), which was a new school record.

Brycen Snell took eighth in the 100 freestyle (47.25) setting another school record. He also broke the school record in the 200 Freestyle (1:43.68)

The team of Matt Peng, Nick Cavanah, Alex Cochrane and Brycen Snell set a new school record in the 200 Freestyle Relay (1:27.04). They came in fifth at the state tournament.
