Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams Qualify for State!

The Linn-Mar boys and girls Cross Country teams each qualified for the state tournament by placing among the top three teams at the state qualifying meet in Marshalltown.

The guys came in second out of ten teams at the qualifying meet. Linn-Mar has three individual state qualifiers on the boys Cross Country team. They include: Colin Johnston, Dylan Dolezal and Brycen Snell.

The girls came in third out of ten teams at the qualifying meet.
We have two individual state qualifiers on the girls Cross Country team. Micah Poellet came in first overall and Lilly Geelan came in second.

The state cross country meet will be held Saturday, October 28th at Lakeside Municipal Golf Course in Fort Dodge. The girls Class 4A event starts at 11:00 AM. The boys Class 4A
event starts at 11:30 AM.
