Boys & Girls Cross Country To State!

The Linn-Mar Boys and Girls Cross Country teams each qualified for the state tournament by placing among the top three teams at the state qualifying meet in Bettendorf.

The girls came in first overall. Micah Poellet took the top spot. Jordyn Beck came in 3rd, Lily Geelan came in 5th, Chloe Skidmore was 7th and Sarah Murphy came in 10th.

The guys came in third overall. Dylan Dolezal took 3rd, Zion Rios was 18th, Hayden Kuhn took 20th, Tryton Harper came in 21st, Cadin Evans was 22nd, Jacob Derr was 25th and Miles Madson came in 30th.

The state cross country meet will be held Saturday, November 2nd at Lakeside Municipal Golf Course in Fort Dodge. The girls Class 4A event starts at 11:00 AM. The boys Class 4A event starts at 11:30 AM.
