Aquatic Center to Offer Summer Swim Lessons

Swimming Lessons will return to the Linn-Mar Aquatic Center starting June 14.

Four two-week sessions will be offered during the months of June, July, and the first part of August.

Preschool classes will be offered during weekday mornings. Beginner and Advanced Lessons will be offered during weekday mornings and afternoons. Adaptive classes for students with attention difficulties, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, sensory challenge, physical disabilities, and coordination difficulties will be offered on weekdays during the middle of the day.

Due to Covid mitigation efforts, registration this summer will be limited. The number of registrations available has been decreased so that students will have more space. Additionally, instructors will wear face shields while teaching. Students will need to wear a mask when not swimming. Parents and spectators must wear a mask while in the building.

Registration for all sessions opens at 7:00 AM on Tuesday, May 4.
