Applications Now Available for Open Linn-Mar Board of Directors Seat

At the Linn-Mar Board of Directors’ regularly scheduled meeting on September 9, the board announced that Rachel Wall has stepped down from her position on the Board, effective immediately.

The Board is committed to ensuring a smooth transition and will begin the process of filling the vacant position in accordance with district policies and procedures. As outlined in the Board meeting on September 9, the Linn-Mar Community School District Board of Directors will accept applications for the Board’s consideration as they appoint a replacement for the vacancy. The duration of the appointment is effective through November, 2025.

Anyone who is a Linn-Mar resident and is interested in applying for the vacant seat on the Linn-Mar Board of Directors can complete the application and submit it, along with a resume, by 4:00 PM on Wednesday, September 25 to Board Secretary Jon Galbraith, Hazel Point Intermediate, 453 Echo Hill Road, Marion, IA 52302 or via email at jon.galbraith@linnmar.k12.ia.us. The Linn-Mar Board of Directors will make an appointment for the vacancy during the October 7 board meeting.
