All-State Speech Honors

Two Linn-Mar students have earned the highest individual honor in High School Speech Communication in the State!

The Iowa High School Speech Association (IHSSA) will present All-State Medals to Abigail Richard and Sabyn Jones, during ceremonies at the University of Northern Iowa on Monday, March 27th.

To reach this point, both students obtained perfect scores from panels of judges in district and state competitions.

Abigail is being recognized for her public speaking skills in the category of Radio Broadcasting.
Sabyn is being awarded for her Public Address presentation.

Before receiving their medals, Abigail and Sabyn will present their award-winning entries for a final critique during the All-State Festival at UNI.
