All-State Speech Honor

A Linn-Mar student has earned the highest individual honor in High School Speech Communication in the State!

The Iowa High School Speech Association (IHSSA) will present an All-State Medal to Gabby Mauren during ceremonies at the University of Northern Iowa on Monday, March 25th. She is being recognized for her public speaking skills in the category of Original Oratory. Before receiving her medal, Gabby will present her award-winning entry for a final critique.

To reach this point, Gabby obtained perfect scores from panels of judges in district and state competitions.
