8th Graders Advance to National History Competition

Congratulations to 8th grade Oak Ridge TAG students on qualifying for the National History Day State Competition!  All three girls, Julie Cagnard, Elizabeth Low, and Kate Hinz represented Oak Ridge beautifully.

Kate Hinz and her documentary and Elizabeth Low and her exhibit qualified for Nationals in Washington D.C.!

Only 10 individual projects are chosen from each state, so it is quite an honor!  

They will compete at the University of Maryland June 11th through the 15th.
