Kindergarten Roundup Tonight!

Kindergarten Orientation for incoming students is Tuesday, January 28th at 6 p.m. in all Linn-Mar K-5 schools.

This common night will help families learn about Linn-Mar and the kindergarten class experience for their students. This program is intended for parents only, and children need not attend.

Required paperwork will be mailed to parents already identified by the district as having a kindergarten-aged child.

Please offer us assistance by informing your neighbors that have children ready to start school.

All families with incoming kindergartners are encouraged to call their nearest K-5 school, even if the child already has older brothers or sisters at Linn-Mar.

When calling, parents should be prepared to provide the child’s name, birthdate, home address, home phone, mom’s name, dad’s name, and a current email address.

If you are not sure which school your neighborhood is assigned, go to the Linn County Public School Attendance Areas website. 

The snow date for kindergarten roundup is February 4th.
