300 Wins!

Linn-Mar Boys Varsity Basketball Coach Chris Robertson has reached his 300th career victory! This milestone reflects not only on Robertson’s dedication and leadership but also on the hard work and success of the varsity boy’s basketball team.

“Coach Robertson is in his 19th year leading the Lions and while accomplishing his 300th career win is a huge feat, he would be the first to tell you he doesn’t coach for the wins or losses,” said Linn-Mar High School Athletic Director Tonya Moe. “He loves what he does every single day and cares about the young men in his basketball program and will do whatever he can to help them be successful in the sport they love to play. Linn-Mar is fortunate to have great coaches leading our programs like Coach Robertson.”

Robertson reflected on what he called “great memories” of his career including state championships.

“I’ve been very fortunate. Our kids and all of my assistant coaches have been awesome”, said Robertson. “We have great support from the community and administration. It’s just been a great place. I don’t think I would want to be anywhere else.”

It’s his legacy of class and professionalism that makes us proud to say congratulations and thank you to Coach Chris Robertson for this remarkable achievement. Go Lions!
