New Nutrition Services Manager Brings a Career of Culinary Leadership!
Stacy Fish is the new Nutrition Services Manager for the Linn-Mar Community School District. She is replacing longtime director, Susan Knight, who is retiring.
Stacy has held the position of Kitchen Manager at Linn-Mar High School for the past several years.
After college, Stacy got her start in the food industry working at a restaurant in the Waterloo area. She became a general manager and the company transferred her to Cedar Rapids. She remained in that position for six years.
Stacy says she enjoyed her work in the restaurant business, but with three children, she sought out a job that was more “family friendly”. She came to Linn-Mar in 2009.
Stacy is married. Her husband Steve is a Social Studies teacher at Excelsior Middle School. They have three children at Linn-Mar. Ethan is a sophomore, Nathan is in 5th grade, and Brayden is in 2nd grade.
We wish all the best to Susan Knight in her retirement and thank her for the many years of outstanding service to the district and we proudly welcome Stacy Fish to her exciting new role at Linn-Mar!
