Ruth Noth

Ruth Noth serves the district in two distinctly different part-time roles. First, she is a fourth and fifth grade associate at Bowman Woods Elementary. It’s a position she has held for many, many years. She assists the teachers with learning preparations and the students with various learning needs.

Ruth is also the “lunch lady” at Bowman Woods. In her part-time role with Nutrition Services, she is the coordinator of the Total Access (School Dining System) for the entire district. “Ruth has been a tremendous asset to Bowman Woods for 23 years,” said Principal Tina March, “She will be greatly missed!”

Stacy Fish, Linn-Mar Nutrition Services Manager, says “Ruth proudly manages our students’ meal accounts and assists parent/guardians with any questions regarding their family accounts.”

Ruth’s longtime co-worker, Nutrition Services Coordinator Cathy Berggren, calls Ruth “A great asset to the Nutrition Services department with a wonderful attention to detail, and she always looks out for the best interests of the students.”
Mrs. Noth is retiring at the end of the school year. Co-workers say she bleeds red and black and is a highly dedicated member of the Linn-Mar Community. We wish Mrs. Noth all the best in her retirement.
