Brenda Bauermeister
Brenda is the LEO (Learning Enrichment Opportunities) teacher at Indian Creek Elementary. She also serves as the Elementary TAG (Talented and Gifted) Coordinator for the entire district.
Brenda brings a special energy to her classroom. She challenges her students to be inquisitive and resourceful as they explore, discover and investigate the complex world around them.
Prior to her current role as LEO teacher, Brenda was the SAM (School Administration Manager) at Wilkins. She has also taught first grade at schools in Iowa, California, and Florida, while her husband was in the Navy.
Brenda received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Iowa and her Master’s Degree in Post-Secondary Education from San Diego State University. She received her Talented and Gifted Endorsement through the University of Iowa Belin-Blank Center.
