Meet Ananya Oli, a senior at Linn-Mar High School who is making a significant impact in her community through her leadership and commitment to service. She currently serves as president of the Key Club and HOSA – Future Healthcare Professionals, and she is vice-president of FBLA – Future Business Leaders of America.

This summer, Ananya took on the role of Lieutenant Governor of Area 7 for Key Club/Kiwanis. As Lieutenant Governor, Ananya plays a vital role in connecting schools within Area 7 to the larger district. She shares important updates and resources through monthly newsletters and helps schools establish new Key Clubs. She also organizes fall rallies to encourage collaboration among students dedicated to community service. Ananya shared that she was motivated to run for this position after witnessing the positive effects that previous leaders had on her school community. “I wanted to get more students excited about service and give back to the community,” Ananya explained.

Ananya emphasizes the valuable opportunities that Key Club provides beyond school. “I wish more Linn-Mar students knew about the chance to attend district and international events,” she said. “These events provide not only a chance to network, but also valuable opportunities to learn, grow, and gain new perspectives on community involvement and leadership.”

In addition to her extracurricular activities, Ananya is focused on her studies. She is enrolled in AP Statistics, choir, college reading, and creative writing. She particularly enjoys her Creative Writing class, where she gets to explore her passion for storytelling. Looking ahead, she is excited about taking AP Psychology, a subject she finds particularly interesting.

Through her strong leadership skills and dedication to service, Ananya Oli stands out as a committed student leader at Linn-Mar High School. Her efforts continue to inspire her peers and make a meaningful difference in the community.
