Alexander Neff
Any time that you go into Mr. Neff’s room you can see a mountain of paperwork he’s working through and hear the constant pinging of emails coming in every other minute. But despite his working 14 hour days,
Mr. Neff never hesitates to set aside his massive workload and help any student that stops by with questions. He makes it a priority to ensure that his students understand the content and are comfortable with it.
Not only is Mr. Neff a 110% teacher (who, as a statistics teacher, would remind me is mathematically impossible), he makes his students feel welcome and comfortable in his class. AP classes are stereotypically stress-ridden rites of passage, but Mr. Neff recognizes the importance of mental health and flexibility with his students. He will help give them that extra boost to earn that A+.
