Alex Drahos
Alex was recently elected to serve as one of 11 International Trustees by the 2019 Key Club International student delegation.
He is the first student from Iowa to do so.
As a member of the International Council, the Linn-Mar High School Junior will serve on international committees and work with roughly 260,000 others from around the world to improve communities and educational opportunities for all.
Alex has been involved in Key Club since his freshman year and recently served as the district editor of the Nebraska-Iowa District. He won an award in Baltimore earlier this summer for his service in this role. This past year he was also chair of the service committee for the Nebraska-Iowa District and chair of the sponsorship committee. Last year, he was lieutenant governor of Divisions 6&9 of the Nebraska-Iowa District.
Key Club International is a youth organization affiliated with the Kiwanis organization. Young people perform acts of service in their communities while focusing on the core values of “leadership, character building, caring, and inclusiveness.
Key Club is open to all Linn-Mar High School students.
